PRIMITIVE METHODIST CHURCH.

The annual congregational meetingwas held in the Queen street Primitive Methodist Cliurch on Tuesday evening, Mr C. E| Belhinger presiding.

A programme of musical items was rendered in the intervals between the various items in the business jjrogtamme. Amongst the concert items particular mention must be made of the singing of Miss Winnie Nixon, whose voice has improved wondorfully under tu.tio n in ltiveicargiil. Seveial schemes were di>cussed for the betterment of the church, and committees were set up as follows: Flower committee, Misses H. Nixon, Cameron, Richardson and Beal; churchcleaning bee meeting to be called by Mr Upton; sick yisiting committee, the C.E. committco and M:ss Andrews ; doorkeepers to welcome visitors to the church, left to Messrs Pcppeiill and Upton to arrange; dele-j gates to the quarterly meeting, Mcsdamos Upton and Stunners.

Committees lo arrange for the Conference:—Plan and general arrant'-' mints, Keys. Nixon and Duhcrty, Messrs White, Upton and C. E. Bellringer; committee to arrange homes tor the delegates, Mesdames Andrews, Ward, Upton, Scanners, Moon, Peppcriil, Lepme, Jl. Ward (.\e\v Plymouth), Mesdames Ruuciman, Kendall and K l|bv. Miss F ote, Miss M. Cunne.lt s.eercaiy; musical coronrUee Misses I-.. Connett mid Loesch, Messrs Golding, I Jenkinson, lloskin and Clark; entertainment committee, Mesdames Moon.
