UNUSUAL DAMAGES CLAIM.
LOSS OP A HUSBAND. (Per Press Association). Wellington, November 5. An unusual case was brought before' the Arbitration Court to-day. This was a claim (or £3OO, brought by Sarah Kobmson against the Union iteaniship Company on account of the death of hor husband, Edward Bobiu*on, who was burned whilo attending to the fires on the steamer Kotoiti, travelling between Nelson and Wellington. Tho accident happenod on August 21st o£ last year. Eobinson was attended by a medical man on- arrival it Wellington, and sent to his home in Auckland. Ho came back to Welling. ton and died in tho district hospital on January 17th from heart disease. Tho issue between the parties was H'hotlier tho accident was the causo of clio disease which led to doath. Themedical evidence was conflicting, but tho Court decided that its weight was in favour of the claim, and judgment ivas for claimant for £3OO, with fifteen ■ guineas costs, witnesses expenses and disbursements,
