[AN INFUBIATED LOVEB. lliLuorßisE, November 5. A young man named Johnstone has been arrested on charges of murderous assault oa three women named Patterson in South Melbourne. He had been keeping company with the younger woman, and tk-j elder remonstrated with him for his insulting behaviour, whereupon he assaulted all three with a bar of iron. Mrs Patterson, aged 70, is not expected to recover.
