If there is one thing more than another that will fret the housewife it is a range that does not work properly. The Xealandia range has made itself a favorite with all who have tried it. Visit W. W. Murton & Co.'s, Devon street, and get particulars. Mr Speneor, who is now going at high speed manufacturing his noxious weed destroyer, has received many flattering testimonials from farmers ivho have used the mixture. The ■•Destroyer" does its work perfectly every lime. Messrs Wilson & Nolan are the local agents, and Messrs Vickers & Stevens the Ingletvood agents. A progressive euchre party, half the pioceeds of which will be devoted to ihe Recreation Sports Grounds will be held at the West End School on Monday evening. A first class supper will be provided. The New Plymouth Gymnasium Cittb will give a display in Inglewoo-', 111 a fortnight's time. Inglewoocl folk should mark this up., and determine not to miss the entertainment which is really a fine one.

A final reminder is given of Mr Newton King's Stony River Horse Fair which takes place on Monday next. About 100 horses of all classes will be offered including several 2 and 3 year old unbroken draughts. Anyone wanting reliable dairv cows or draught horses should bear iti mind the clearing sale to be hold at Omata on Monday by Mr Newton King on account of Mr J. J. Gilbert. As this' will probably be the last sale of farm stock this season farmers and ; ' ain ''.r.-ii shou'id 1 not miss it. The majority of the cows are really choice having been carefully selected, and ill" horses are guaranteed staunch and sound.
