COMPULSOfiI' IN POLAND. Received 31, 9.50 p.m. Beriis, October 31. A Polish petition presented to the Prussian Government, against the daily detention of 45,000 children for refusing religious instruction in German, met a stern rebuff. Dr. Studt, Minister of Instruction, declared the regulations will be enforced by every means tne lair permits.
