PERSONAL.

Mr Turnbull, S.M., was on a visit to New Plymouth on Friday. Mr E. Arnntagc, sen., a very old resident of New Plymouth, his acquainlance with the place dating from somewhere in the fifties, was|taken to the hospital on Friday snfferiug from paralysis and concussion of the braiu, the result of a fall near Gover street. Tho old gentleman was badly shaken some six weeks ago by a fall on alighting from a 'bus, and at his advanced age of 82 years, had not quite recovered from the effects. On Fridiiy he missed the Fiizroy 'bus, a'nd started to walk home, but Ins strength failed, and he fell. Members of the Ambulance Association conveyed him to the hospital, where he now lies lh a very precarious condition.
