IMPERIAL POLITICS.
PLURAL VOTING BIIX. Received 25th, 10 p.m. London, October 25. The House of Commons is discussing the Plural Voting Billj the Government resisting all amendments-! An attempt to exempt university constituencies from the operations of the measure was defeated by 247 to 92. Mr Balfour scathingly denounced the Bill as an insidious measure.
The Right Hon. H. H. Asquith replied that there was no reason why university voters should have separate treatment.
