The New Plymouth Borough Council last night had a lengthy sitting- the detailed report of which is held over. Proposals are to be submitted to the ratepayers to raise a further £IO,OOO for electric light. £IOOO for water supply extension, drainage extension and X'jjoo to purchase Mr )•'. W." Brooking s sections 004, 695. and part 093, for lite purpose of a library and Town Hall site.
