BOMB OUTRAGE AVERTED.
A DARING RUSSIAN PLOT. ARREST OF THE PLOTTERS. Received 21st, 4.4 ft p.m. St. Petersburg. October 20. The perpetration of a bomb outrage was narrowly averted at Kronstadt.
An infan'i'yman named Vla»soff went to a place where a Court-mar-tial was in progress and requested a policeman on duly to hand a parcel to the soldiers guarding the pri-on-ers on trial. Examination of the contents revealed its contents to b'- a powerful bonlH weighing five jwunds.
Ylassolf was immediately arrested* and confessed that the -oldier to whom the parcel wa» addresn-d would have handed it to the bluejacket' who were undergoing trial, and who in turn would have thrown the missile at the Commandant of the Fortress and the Judges' table.
The plot was to avenge the recent sentences and execution*
The wDman by whom the parcel was brought from St. Peter-burg was also arrested, together with military plotters. / ,
