At the Baptist Conference, the following allocations were made Voung People's Committee, ,£ls; Students' Committee, £4O; Feilding, £6O; Whangarei, £45; Waihi, £35 [ Mount Roskill, £6s;' Epfom, £34; Ashburton, £2O; Kaikoura £2O; Petone i £4O; Oxford, £2O-, North Invercargill, £46; Kaiapoi, £3O; New Plymouth, £ so -, Riccarton,, £34; Maori Hill, £10; Owaka £10; Evangelist, £25; sundries, £120: total, £689. The estimated receipts are £660.
The following resolution was unanimously passed on the motion of the Rev. A. Dewdney: "That this Assembly express its pleasure at -.he fact that the Internationa! Exhibition will be free from liquor bars, and its satisfaction that the Government declined to interfere with the decision of the elective committee by legislation on the question; a cop'y of this resolution to be forwarded to the Premier." The Conference has now closed.
