SUBMARINE DISAPPEARS
WHILE UNDERGOING SUBMERSION. EFFORTS TO LOCATE THE VESSEL. Received 17th, y.58 p.m. Paris, October 17. The French submarine Lutin, with a crew of 14, while undergoing submersion at Bizerta, disappeared yestcrdav morning in a rough sea. The search for the boat continues. Drags encountered an obstacle at the spot where she disappeared. British apparatus from Malta was proffered and accepted.
