BOWLING.
At a meeting of the Fitzroy Bowling Club committee it was decided that playing on the green commence an Thursday, 25th inst. As many members as can make it convenient are reqested to be on the green today to assist in heavy rolling. At the same meeting a vote of enco was passed to be forwarded to Mrs Paul lamenting the death of Mr Paul, who was the father of "Bowls" in New Zealand.
A largo number of new members iiave joined the Fitzroy Club, and everything points to a successful season for this deserving young club.
