Besides the gift already cabled, the couple contributed ,£50,000 sicr.ing to the employees' sick fund, and I'rati Krupp also £50,000, with 50 hectaies of land, to establish an institution for the relief of the poor classes. The Kaiser, in his speech, congratulated the bride on her magnificent sphcie of usefulness as regards the woikmen's welfare. He expressed the hope that the Krupps would always make ihe best guns.
