The New Zealanders were in good form, and opened strongly. On the fifth head they were 11 points ahead. On the tenth head, Queensland held the visitor-, who gained only onepoint. The Ou'enslanders ihen began a forward move. and on ihe 20th head were three be hind Their opponents, howevei, checked their move, and giadually drew away.
Thc winners were heartily congratulated, concluding with a .Maori war cry.
