At Remuora, beef was in full supply, and prices were no better. Steers made, from ,£5 10/ hi £ll 2/, cows £3 10; to £7 17/6. Sheep were plentiful, at lower prices. \\'ethers made :•> 27/, stores to 19/3,.ewes to 23/6, shorn to 17/, Fat lambs made 8/ to 18/cj. l'igs sold at late high rates.
NEWTON KING'S REPORT.
On Monday at Toko I hold a clearing sain of Mr Alt. Bayly's sheep and store cattle. There was a good attendance and bidding was brisk, especially for the bulls and sheep. Yearling heifers made 12/6 to 27/, ! steers 35; to 36/6, store cows £2 t!) £i 10/, 12 to iS months grade Shorthorn bulls £1 to £S, aged bulls £2 to £5 15/> mixed hoggets 14/8 to 15/1. ewe do. IR/5, ewes and lambs 23/ to 24/4, rains £ 7 j to £i ;/0. At Waiwakaiho on Tuesday the yards were full with all classes of stock, lihUling was quiet, but die majority of lines were quitted either at the hammer or privately.
