The Timc-s warns the Briti-h delegates to vigilantly prevent attempts to deprive Britain of the exceptional advantages she enjoys in peace and war, and advises an attitude of reserve until the views nf the other Governments of the Empire have b:'en ascertained, and suggests the Imperial Conference as a suitable opportunity for dtseus-ing the advisability of enforcing inter-communication of the different systems within the Empire, and agreeing on a definite common policy towards the outside world The Times adds that the Colonial Ministers, if consulted, are likely to resent Britain hurriedly concluding a binding and possibly seriously fettering agreement on a matter of the greatest Imperial consequence.
