The South Island Landless Natives Bill as reported practically unamended by the Native Affairs Committee, \va> reported from Committee, an innrpreiation clause being- deferred for further consideration. The Otago Dock Acts Amendment BUI passed the final stages and the Council adjourned at 3.50 until Thursday. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. The House met at 2.30. The following Bills passed the third readings Training- Ships, Private Hospitals, Jubilee Institute for the Blind, Workers' Dwellings. These Bi'ls wete considered, and all amendments agreed to and passed through all their stages.

i'he House adjourned at 5.30 p.m. The House resumed at 7.30, the sitting being occupied with the Land Bi'li and the Mouse rose at 11.35 till 7.30 p.m. to-day (Labour Day).
