Mr Kenrick, S.M., sat at the Magistrate s Court on Saturday and heard tho char.g)> preferred against John Yeoman Pascoe of using an instrument to procure abortion. McPherson, who is serving two years in connection with the case, gave evidence that he employed Pascoe io -)o 'ho job for £ls. Mrs McPherson •staled that Pascoe was the man who used the instrument on her, Accused was commiued for trial at Christ-j church on November 12th, bail being! allowed, accused in .£3OO and two sureties of £2OO each.
