TARIFF REFORM
GLOWING REPORT FROM MR. CHAMBERLAIN. Received 7th, 4.42 p.m. London, October 6. Mr Chamberlain, in a letter read before the Committee of the Tariff Reform League, states that fiscal reform has now been adopted as the programme of one of the great parties of 1 State, and has secured the support of tlie vast body of opinion amongst cl-f-dOIS. Mr Chamberlain intimates that ho has been advised by his modieal attendant not to resume work for ho present.
