The executive of the Southland Farmers' Union to-day discussed the Land Hill, and resolved to protest against the land proposals of the troverninent now before the House, and also against the Bill be.ng hurried through the House this session before the country realises the meaning and scope of the measure, especially as the majority of the members ol the present House were returned pledged to the policy which these proposals directly yiolate.
