WELLINGTON THIEVES.
(Pel t'lcss Association.) Wellington, October 5. Since the derelict barque Lutterworth was moored a'ongside tin wharf, shore thieves have been on board and stolen all lhat was worth stealing. The spirit room was bro ken into and whisky and tobacco taken. The captain s binoculars w'cistolen, and Mrs Mick's wardrobe was ransacked and practically destroyed, leaving her with scarcely a change of clothing, and even lite shipwre'ekee' sailors' effects were removed by the thieves. The police are enquiring into the affair.
