FOOTBALL.
<* The second mulch between the Tukupa juniors ami (lie Uannate 11 (luipouga) juniors for the second grade football championship of Taranaki will be played at Ivapouga on Saturday, tit 2 o'clock. The football match Hillcs v. Guards, arranged for to-day, will not he played, owing to scycral of the players being unable to attend. The mulch has, therefore, been indefinitely postponed W. J. Wallace, of Wellington, who was a member of the New Zealand fooihall loam which toured Great IJi-itaiu last season, has declined a liiiitneial oiler made to him by the DcHsbury Club, Yorkshire, to join its ranks.
