New York, October 2. The hurricane in the Southen BUtes did enormous damage to t!t. cetton crop with the result that gre.it speculation has been caused. New York prices rose 70 points in tw< days. The rise is reflected in the Liverpool market. Received 3,11.30 p.m. New Yobk, October 3. Cotton in New York has made ; fuather rise of thirty-five points.
