DINEDIX GRAIN MARKET, Per Press Association. Dunedin, September 26. Wheat: The market is stagnan;, except for fowl wheat, which is in demand. Oats: There has been a demand from exporters, but their limits are barely up to late quotations, and as they have little difficulty in tilling orders elsewhere at lower prices, not much business is doing. (Per Press Association.) Dunedin, September 26. Fat cattle: 246 yaided, principally medium, with a few pens of prime heavy bullocks. Prices eased toward che end until graziers commenced to buy, and steadied the market. Extra heavy bullocks £l2 to 7/6, prime £lO to ,£ll 10 , medium to good .£8 to fa) 15 . light £b to £7 io_, best cows and heifers £7 10; to ,£8 15,, medium to good £6 to £7, light ,£4 io, to £i to.. Fat sheep: 370S wne yarded, which was a recoid for many months. The yarding was mostly medium weights r.f K ood quality. It was too much for requirements, and as there were no export buyers, graziers bought most of the light wethers. Prices were 2/ below last week, and probably enough were withdrawn 10 supply next week's market. Extra heavy wethers 23 6 to 25,6, prime 21/ to 24;, medium 18 6 to 20 6, light 16/ to 18;. best ewes 18, to 21/6, medium 16/ to 17 6. Lambs: Six were penned and sold at 24 6 and 25/. Pigs: 132 yarded. Porkers and baconers were firm, and suckers and slips are making higher prices.
