The annual meeting of the Warea Cricket Ciub was held on Tuesday evening - . Officer* were elected as follows:—Piesid'iii, Mr 11. Corbect, Vice President, G. 1\ Jonu«> andE. Aylward, Club Captain, Mr Walty; Vice Captain. Mr B. Anderson, Svleciion Committee, Messrs Watt, Anderson and King ; Secretary Mr C. Corbcti. The subscription was at 5/ fur the coining season, li was decided that T. K. Larking and C. K. Corbcti interview Mr E.Aylwaid and offer him a price for the use of a portion of his ground in front of the store for cricket matches.
A vote of thanks was passed Messrs McDonald, Brophy, and Corbett, for the use of their grounds last season. A bat was presented to Mr I'. Jen kins by the club for being the best aM round player last season. Mr Jenkins, in acknowledging the trophy said ho wou'd give a bat for the bes, average baiting this season.
