PUBLICANS HEAVILY PINED.
Per Press Association. Wellington, September 26. Mr luddoli, S.M., gave judgment today in tile actions taken against two hotelkeepers Thos. Clapham and md Edward Fitzsorald, charging them under the Licensing Act and Trades Mark Act with refilling for salo certain whisky bottles without first destroying the labels thereon, and with applying false trade descriptions to bottles of whisky. Defendants wore each fined £IQ on the second part of the charges.
