OPUNAKE HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.

SPRING snow. The spring show in connection with the Oimnake Horticultural Society was held in the Opunake Pubiic Hall on Wednesday afternoon, and proved most successful. in all classes theie were more exhibits than in burner ycais, and ill many o( the clas.-cs ihe judges had gnat difficulty ill separating the exhibits, so good was their qu.ilily. Exhibitors wenpresent iiom as far away as Kap.inga. The poultry section was veiy successful, and is undoubtedly a great feature of i,,e sining show. The attendance both aliermx 11 and evening was excel, cut, and the com. mittee should have guud financial resuits.
