TERRIBLE ADVENTURES.
MEN INTERNED IN DISUSED SHAFTS. __ Received lijtu, 12.42 a.m. Melbourne, September 17. A terrible adventure befel a labourer named l'cter kenane. He fell down a disused mine at Rushworth, where ho remained for six days without food until rescued in a weak state. He sustained shocking injuries in his fall. A similar case occurred near Fryers town, where a man named Campbell fell down an abandoned shaft, where he spont three days and nights before he was found.
