WAREA.
(Our Own Correspondent.) Mr B. Anderson, who has been confined to the New Plymouth hospital suffering from pneumonia for a couple of weeks, is now ciit again and is thinking of taking- a trip to Christchurch before he commences his factory work.
A meeting of the Warea Rifle club will be held on Saturday eveniing, when al l the members are to bo sworn in by Mr W. MacLachlan, J.P. The grass is begining to grow in the district now, and the milk is increasing very rapidly. Some of the suppliers are over a looolbs of milk already. There are two milking machines installed in the district this season, by Greenway Bros, and one by W. Binnic. There will | 3e more next season if these two machines arc a success.
A meeting of the Warea foolb; club will be held on Saturday nig for the purpose of holding a soci shortly.
A noxious weed inspector has beei down the c -o a st lately. It would bt a good thing if the inspectors wen over the Maoris' hind on the Newel run, when- there are acres of black berries, that neither man nor boas can gel through, whilst the ragwort is as thick as ever it can be.
