n * MODEL DAIRY ABANDONED. Per Press Association. Welunoton, September 14. At a meeting of Cabinet, it was dc. cided to abandon the project to establish a model dairy factory in connection with the Exhibition, it being found that the cost would very greatly exceed the estimate. The idea was 10 have a complete butter factory, with byre attached, and tenders were called for the work of construction. These proved that tho cost of exhibit would be over £3OOO As there will be other dairy exhibits, it was deemed advisable to abandon the projoct.
