ILLNESS OF PRINCESS ROYAL
AN OPERATION PERFORMED. Received 13, tf.4B a.m. Losdox, September 13.
Owing to alarmist reports concerning the health of the Princess Boyal, it is officially announced that she never completely recovered from a severe attack of influenza, last spring. Three weeks ago she contracted a chill, accompanied by high fever and considerable weakness and complications, necessitating an operation which was performed last Monday. The Princess bore it well, and is making satisfactory progress, though it will be some week* before she is conyalescent.
