DESTRUCTIVE CYCLONE.
CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE AX BOURKE. - Received 12th, 5.33 p.m. "~~ Sydney, September 12. fcarly this morning a cyclone struck Bourke from the soutli-wesu 'astinjr a minute. It wa« accompanied by lightning, and a 'waterspout, which lasted for five minutes, A 'arge amount of damage was done. Ihe Salvation Army -Barracks, a , B % b . m '° m E, was levelled, while the Caledonian Hotel, a ' brick structure, was wrecked, the inmates having a narrow escape. Several othdtr buildings were badly damaged.
