A CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER
NURSE'S ALLEGED NEGLECT. (Per Press Association.) CninsTi'iiuacit, September 10. Georgian Prances Brown, matron ol a private nursing home, appeared bofon Mr V. G. Day, S.M., at the PoliCi Court this morning, charged with man ■daughter. The information alleged lhat on August Oth, at Christchurcli by omitting and neglecting to provide i newly-born infant of one Clarence Beli Patterson with proper care and atten tion, she [caused the death of the said infant, and was thereby guilty of man slaughter. Accused was remanded foi a week oa bail.
