THE TOWN HALL LADIES ROOM.

Of course, if the !ady friends of those who are anxious for a change of management would prefer to have a male attendant pottering about, their reason for wishing a change at once becomes apparent, as I presume if the Council took control it wouU become one of the duties of the present caretaker to see to the room. As for myself, I prefer the present arrangement, and hope no change will be made, although it must be very annoying to the ladies in charge to have to submit to the criticism of their mode of management by a section of the Council who do not seem to know what thev are talking about. —I am, etc.; 4 "** ' RATEPAYER.
