BURNSIDE MARKET REPORT. PEE PBKS3 ASSOCIATION, Dunedin, August 30. 1; at cattle : 166 yarded, mostly unfinished sorts, with a pen or two of extra fine oxen. The market opened \ at from 10/- to 15/- a head in advance of last week's rates. Best bullocks made £lO to £ll, extra to £ll 17/6, good bullocks ,£8 to £9 10/-, best hei- -< fers £6 10/- to £y 5/-, cows .£5 15/- to £(> to/-. n"' , s ' )Cep : .'SBO penned, The bulk of the yarding consisted of only medium wethers, with a few pens of extra prime sorts. The market opened prices ranging from 1/- to 1/6 per head m advance of last week's rates.. Best wethers made as high as 28/6 good wethers 20/ to 22/6, light 10/ to 20/- best ewes up to 23/6. There were no lambs forward. Pigs : 57 penned. There were a pens of really prime baconers and porkers forward. The market advanced fully 3/- p or hehd on ) ast week s quotations. The demand was greatly in excess of the supply. Suckers yU to I s/-, slips 16/- to 22/6, stores 18/. to 25/-, porkers 31/- to 35/-, light baconers 42/6 to 52/6.
