IN MEMORIAM

CLARK.—In loving memory of Charles Ciare, who died of peritonitis at the New Plymouth llospitial on August 28th, 1905.

We mourn the ioss of one we loved And did our best to save ; Beloved in life, regretted, gone, Remembered in the grave. Silently the shades of evening Gather round our lonely door, SHentlv they bring before us A face on earth we'll sec no more

But though the loving voice is silenced, And the true heart ceased to beat, We still miss the well-known footstep And the firm we used to greet. —lnserted by his loving father, mother, brothers and sisters.
