# KfiCiHTITUSG OF NATIVES. Johanxisbubo, August 2fi. The Johannesburg Progressive Association meeting at Forasburg collapsed owing to the opposition of two thousand, moatlj miners. Mr Bhadrell, a member of ilie Miners' Association, then took the chair. This meeting resolved, at the instance of Mr K. Othwaite. in favor of the repatriation of Chinese wLen the present contracts terminate. The meeting loudly cheered the Boers. iiOSDOS, Aujust 26. The " Daily Chronicle " reports that the Mine Owners' Association is recruiting thousands of nativos weekly from sources other than the East Coast, and supplying other groups ot mines than the Robinson croup. The Native Labor Association now permits .ndividual recruiting by miners anywhere, eicept in the Transvaal and Portuguese territory
