Received 26th, 4.47 p.m. OTTAWA, August 25. Cancdian newspapers complain that the Home Government is seeking to settle outstanding grievances with settle outstanding grivanccs with interests. Such a policy is disloyal to Canada.
An emergency meeting of the Canadian Cabinet is to be held next week to consider England's pressure to settle disputes.
The Lieutenant Governor of Ontario states that recently he visited England and was impressed with the inexcusable ignorance and apathy regarding Canadian affairs. Colonists in England ought to start a campaign to teach Imperialism.
