Smart's sale 011 Friday there was a good attendance and everything realised good prices. Locally there has been considerable investment in the shares of several Petroleum companies, as the TarsI naki Company will probably close its list in a few days, intending mvestois rhiuld not lose any time iu sending in tluir applications to me. A good many paid-up shares have changed hands during the week at 12/ to 13/0, and holders will not n»w se at iess than 11/-
