The committee of the Auckland Racing Club, at a meeting held this evening, decided to increase the stakes for the ensuing year by £I,BOO oyer the previous year. The stake for the Auckland Cup was increased by £l5O, making it £1,500. It was decided to strike out pony ra.-es from all meetings.
