Edgar Turner, who had been found guilty on the previous day of forgery, was sentenced to twelve months. William Thomson was found fcjTty of shooting with intent at Kaitanjata, and sentence was deferred. Thos. Homley and Wil'am McNamara were found Milty of entering and stealing rabbit skins and horse-hair, and each was sentenced to three years imprisonment. Char. Cole, charged with receiving property knowing it to have been stolen, was acquitted.
