The President was a Judge of the Supreme Court. Supposing the workers got a President whom they considered to bo in sympathy with them, it would be a serious matter if employers wished to haye his decisions interfered with by the Government. He indicated that tho Government could not interfere, but promised to bring tho representations made under the notice of the Minister for Labour.
