The Supreme Court of the United States decided that the Brooklyn Rapid Tran>it Company was illegally charging two fares mi Brooklyn bridge to Coney Island, when they were on'y entitled to a single live cent fare. Tie decisim was ignored, and special police forcibly ejected upwards of a thousand passengers from the cars who were objecting to the extra fare. Two women and a man who were ejected from a rear trestle were entrapped bet seen two cars and thrown into a creek, where they were almost drowned. The authorities have revoked all permits for special police, and will assist the people in prosecuting on charges of assault.
