Per Press Association. Hokitika, August 8. Mr T. Y. Seddon, M H.lt., immediately after his election, commenced an extensive tour of the Westland electorate, visitiag eycry part and looking into general requirements. He rcrelurncd to town to-day, haying met with a most cordial reception everywhere. A yery successful function was hold in his Jionor to-night, when the fyoung New Zealanders of tho town and country presented him with a suitably inscribed gold pen and pencil, an.l complimentary speeches were made regarding the straight and honorable manner he had conducted tho election, campaign, Mr Seddon returns to Wellington early next week to take up his Parliamentary duties.
