Tho representative match bctwoen Wellington anil Taraniki, ployed a Day's Bay, resulted in a win for We] linglon by 5 goals to nil. Both teamswere in fine condition, and the game was fast and interesting throughout, Tho Taranaki representatives showed individual brilliance, but were outclassed by the splendid combined play of the Wellington forwards, who by short, sharp passes were dangerous half the game. Goals were shot by Organ, Smythe, Davis (2), and S. Hiekson Tho two McE*ens, Eallet, Morgan, Peal, Fagan and Crawford played woll for Taranaki. The game was a triumph for scientific play over individual endeavour.
