PERRY'S PICTURES.
This well known and talented company arrive from Elllum by the 10.45 a.m. train to-day, and open to-night in the Theatre Royal. So far the Biorann has been a tremendous success everywhere. From conversation with Adjutant Macaulay, we learn that this is by far the largest and most up-to-date company that the Army authorities have sent out. A fifteen horse power high pressure two cylinder engine is used for driving the electric dynamo, thus ensuring ono of the best results possible to get on a 30ft. screen. The pictures are the most up-to-date that have oyer come to New Plymouth and all new. A special feature is their fine Brass Band, 21 performers, male glee parly and orchestra. Brigadier Perry, the Army's expert, is in command, and everything points to a most successful season. On Sunday afternoon the Biorania Band play on Marsden Hill, and at night hold a sacred service in the Theatro Royal, after church.
