Thee was a sensational acciu'ranec tliis afternoon, when a young Maori named Wi Hao'ii, a prominent golf player, attempted lo commit suicide by cutting his throat, lie had been very eccentric for some weeks, and while his wife was outside washing, she heard a noise, and rushing iu, found lier husband m a bad state, with an open razor near by. Wi llnora is now in a critical condition, and is not ex peeled to recover.
