To this total, Wellington contributed £41,741, Auckland £30,716, Christchurch £23,512, and Duncdii: t18,463. The amount of deposits ai tho Savings Banks for the same period ivas £2,007,751, and of withdrawal? £1,755,212. The diposits show an increase of £3 )2,532. There was an excess of deposits over withdrawals at all postal districts.
