DAMAGED EAST COAST ROADS.
I'liE MESS ASSOCIATION. Gisuouxii, July 20. Members of the County Council interviewed the Hon. Mr Carroll today regarding the damage to roads and bridges by the recent Hoods. Tho list submitted totalled £3,3 IS, which was said to be much under the actual loss. The Minister gave a sympathetic reply, and said he would do what ho could to have relief afforded.
