DAMAGES FOR COLLISION.

PKE PBK3S ASSOCIATION Wellington, July 25. The Ecsistrar of tlie Supreme Court was engaged to-day taking the evidence of the captain and officers of the steamer Pondo, which was damaged on the 3rd inst. by collision at the Glasgow wharf with.- the Union Co.'s steamer Corinna. The New Zealand and African Co., owners of the Pondo, are claiming £W damages from the Union Co.
